Wedding Woes

open letter

Dear H&M design team,

Tags in underwear can be mildly annoying - I know the customer has the option to cut them out, but then they may be left with a jagged edge that's even worse. Tagless underwear would be awesome. If you don't feel that's something you can manage, might I recommend another option? Do you think it would be possible to keep the number of tags to one? I have not 1, not 3, but 5 tags in my underwear. Almost as much fabric has been used to make these tags as the underwear themselves. I appreciate the laundering instructions in 10 different languages, but it seems a bit excessive - washing cotton underwear is not rocket science.

Regards,

  • I thought almost all underwear was tagless nowadays.  Boo H&M, boo.
  • There are more than 4 underwear manufacturers in the world, Barbie.  I don't think I've had tags in my panties since I wore maternity ones.

you only have to cut the corners of all 5 tags, not the whole tag. that usually helps enough to avoid the annoying itchiness, and yu still can have your washing instructions. HTH YWIA
  • or you can cut the corners off all five tags, frame them and hang them in your laundry room if you don't know how to wash your underwear.

i think i saw that on pinterest.
