Question about the dads

in October 2013 Weddings
So my dad and stepdad will be walking me down the aisle and they want me to tell them what to wear and I have no clue! What are the dads (or other important non groom, bm, gm's men) wearing? More I guess what color ties etc? Also what is the FOG wearing? My FI's dad is also asking what he should do for a tie.

    My dad is walking me down the aisle in his Class A uniform.  As for the FOG, we have told him any suit he likes and a blue tie to match the groomsmen.  FMIL wanted FFIL to wear what the GM were wearing but FI and I vetoed that.

    My father will be wearing the same tux as the groomsmen (it is grey). The vest for all of the men is dark grey and FI's vest is platinum (lighter grey). FI's father is deceased.

    My dad and FOG are both wearing tuxes. No idea what the grandpas are wearing, and my brothers are both ushers, one is wearing a suit and one is wearing his dress blues.

    The dads are wearing almost the exact same thing as the groomsmen. The only difference is their tie and vests are a different color.

    Our dad's and at least one of FI's grandfathers are wearing classic black tuxes with back vest and black tie.  The GM are wearing black tuxes with gun metal gray vests and ties.  FI is wearing black tux with an ivory/pearl vest and tie.  My dad is the only one that needs to rent a tux, FI's dad and grandfather already have one, so we had no problem with his grandpa wearing his.

    Ok I feel a little better making a decision now. My FI & his BM are wearing dark grey suits, white shirts and navy ties. My dad is also wearing a dark grey suit (because that's all he owns and refuses to get a new one) and my step dad is wearing a solid black suit...our colors are navy and citrus green so I was thinking since FI and BM are wearing navy I'd put my dads in citrus green am let ffil decide what he wants (he will likely

    Everyone is in a dark gray tux.  My fiance will be wering an dark gray  vest and ivory tie.  The groomsmen will have dark gray vest and eggplant tie and the fathers will have dark gray vest with black tie. Everyone will stand out but will look good together.

    Groom is wearing a tux (he insisted), BM is wearing a black suit with a royal blue shirt black tie, My dad royal blue dress shirt black vest and jeans. I know alot of people don't agree with wearing jeans to a wedding, but my dad is as country as they get. I think he would look funny in a suit. Also I bought all of his clothes so it would all be new and look nicer.

    Both my father and FFIL gave me and FI a hard time about being in tuxes, so they are wearing suits. It bothers me a little- not because I'm not getting my way, but because my dad wore a tux for my sister's wedding and my inner 4-year-old doesn't think it's fair. :)

    I believe my dad will be wearing a nice polo shirt or button up shirt.  The G and the GM are wearing orange Hawaiian shirts and it will be laid back. Comfort is key is my mantra :)

    I've always liked the way it looks when the fathers are almost the same as the wedding party with just a little difference like a more neutral tie to match with mothers.  That being said my dad is wearing the same as the gm because the groom wanted everyone the same.  He doesn't have a lot of wedding related opinions so I let him have this one.

    I hadn't even thought about what the dads would wear! Haha.
    FI will be in grey pants and a vest with an ivory shirt, GMs will be in black pants and ivory shirts. Still working on the ties for everyone.
    I know all the dads already have either black or grey suits that they own, so I wasn't too concerned about it. None of them have asked me about it yet anyway, so I guess we'll see what they show up in!

    They're just dressing nicely. My dad will probably just be wearing work attire (a nice shirt, tie, pants and jacket).
