I've already started thinking about Bean's 1st birthday.  I am trying to not go all Sweet 16 on this, but we've decided to put together our own photo booth set up, because I want one. Should be easy and waaaaay cheaper then all the rentals I researched. Please tell me if I am crazy, kthxsbai.

    eh, I've started planning too.  It's fun.  I'm doing a cheerio's theme so need to start saving boxes.

    I just want to know why?  Is Bean an accessory to the photos?  I can't imagine it'd be much fun for the 1 year old; the adults might enjoy it maybe?

    I haven't decided on a theme yet, maybe birds given her main nickname is a certain type of bird. I may enlist my BIL to help design invites. 

    I am mostly just glad I am not being a crazy first time mom.

    It's fine as long as you are having fun with the planning - not fine if you are losing clumps of hair over a photo booth for a 1 yo.

    @VarunaTT, yes, it is mostly for the adults and for me to have as a keepsake. We will be able to save all the photos people take to a hard drive and I want to put them into an album after the fact. There will be older kids there as well who will also enjoy it.

    God no Zsa, DH is taking over the booth thing now. I did the research and when he saw the chance to build something he jumped into the fine detailed research.

    Shoot, I am also not planning on baking her cake either, I know my limits.

    I say go for it. You do know by the time the kid is five; it's probably going to be pizza and balloons in the backyard. So, I say do it up now.:)
