Invitation to watch Webcasting??

How did you invite your family and friends to watch the live webcast of your wedding? We are getting married at Chapel of the Flowers and we have 4 weeks webcast of our ceremony. We have a huge family (like 250 people!) so we are limiting our guest list to our closest friends and immediate family. (This is still 55 people). We decided on a smaller wedding in Vegas because we can afford it. Let's be honest, feeding 250 people would cost a fortune! And where do you fit that many people with a budget of 5k?! So, we booked Vegas and would like to invite the rest of our family to join us on webcast to view our ceremony. Is that bad etiquette? I don't know what to do. I NEED HELP :) Any suggestions?

    I was in the same situation, we made some fun invitations, inviting people to watch via the Internet. It went down ok with friends and family and because of the time difference it meant people could watch the ceremony in there PJs if they wanted:) ALso some family members are getting together and watching it live together and having a mini party. Don't worry, I would suggest you send invites as from experience people may get a wee bit miffed for not being invited:) hope this helps?

    I think people might be a bit hurt if they weren't invited to the actual wedding.  If you have it for 4 weeks after the ceremony, maybe have some postcards made up and send them out from Vegas.   Saying something like "Mr and Mrs _____  were married on _____ at the Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas."  and then give them the website and invite them to view it.  
    We had our dream wedding at Mirage on May 3, 2014!

    We had more people watching online that we had at the actual ceremony (only 10 total there with us). We just sent out the link for it a few weeks ahead of time. Everyone loved being able to watch it live and no one was hurt because they weren't invited to the actual ceremony.

    I know that some people may get hurt if we don't invite them. I just cannot afford to invite 250 people. So we are letting some people know that we are limiting it to closest family. We also don't feel obligated to invite people just to receive a gift. We may not register anywhere. I think it is a great idea to send post cards FROM Las Vegas with the website. That sounds awesome! And I think people will enjoy watching in their pjs or with other family. I will start looking now for those. Thank you so much for the suggestions :)
