I have my dress fitting next week - so I decided to try my dress on just to make sure it still fits how I thought it would. I am so excited that it does!!! And the alterations I expected when I got the dress are still the same. Woo hoo!

    Congrats!  I also have my first fitting next Friday and I'm very nervous.  I bought my dress off of ebay last summer.  When I got it, i couldn't even zip it up.  In December when I tried it on again, I could get it zipped up, but I couldn't breathe!  I'm hoping third time is the charm!

    I had the same question in my mind.  I was very crazy and bought my dress nearly 5 years ago.  I have made it a point to try it on once a year to make sure I didn't gain any weight (it fit perfectly in 2008 minus length).  It still fits perfectly everywhere but length and I only have to take a couple inches off of the bottom, I got a petticoat to make the diameter larger so I had less to remove. I am sure if I got 5 inch heels I wouldn't have to take any length off, but then I would be as tall as FI and uncomfortable all night.
