Starting to get really confused/torn on colors

We went bridemaid dress shopping last week and left without a dress. I think this was good, because I have so many ideas going on, I don't know which direction to go in.

The overall feeling I am going for is romance with just a touch of whimsey. The venue is outdoors, and I'm hoping to bring in a lot of flowers or flower-like decorations to amp up the color. My dress is very sweet and romantic. The guys will be in gray, but the shade hasn't been selected yet. My fiance won't wear tan/khaki so that's more or less set in stone. Other colors will be different shades of pink/coral from the flowers and soft gold accents.

How I see it- I have three directions I can take with bridesmaid dresses.

1. Gray to match the guys: colored sashes and flowers for the girls and ties for the guys can bring the colors in. I think this would look very clean, but that it won't be warm/romantic enough:

2. One color dress: my concern here is that everything will be very matchy matchy. And I like the idea of different patterned ties for the guys

3. Same dress- different colors: I like this idea because I can still do different ties for the guys. I'm worried that it may look a little messy and not well put together.

Which direction would you go in?

I love the grey dress because I would totally wear that dress again. I like the idea as well.

I love that gray dress, but with the groomsmen and your FI also in gray, it's a lot of dark color. I see this more for an elegant, evening, indoor wedding.

I would persoanlly go with choice 3, keep bouquets the same all in a pretty light color (I'm thinking blush and ivory flowers). It seems very sweet and romantic to me, and the colors and paisley print will give it the whimsy aspect.

I love the idea of a gray dress, which is color than can easily be worn again. But with gray suits, it might just be too much of one color. I would either go with option 3 or pick one dress color and allow your BMs to pick different styles.

I almost went with gray dresses for my BMs, but decided against it because it was just too monochromatic with the suits. I gave my BMs one color and told them to pick a dress from a specific designer; they all ended up picking out the same dress.

I like option 2 and 3, providing that the dresses are in the same colour family.

I like the first dress but maybe in a color other than gray. I think it would be too much if the guys were in gray tuxes. I also do not like mismatched bridesmaids dresses or a bunch of different colors, it just looks too busy.

I like option 3, but you can go for shades that flow together better than in the sample picture you posted. For example, having them all wear pale colors (blue, pink, yellow, green, etc.) with a bright pop of contrasting flowers could look really pretty.

If the dresses are colorful, the flowers will definitely be muted. Or, if they are gray they will be colorful. But I'm glad to hear everyone thinks I should go with color of some sort.

I like the uniformed look of dresses that are the same color, but I feel that reduces my choices of ties for the guys. My concern with different colored dresses is a busy look. If we go with same dress different colors, they will all be in the same color family just different shades. Like blush, coral, pink, etc.

I think gray suits and gray dresses sounds like too much gray - even if you did add color with sashes and ties.

I like option 2 and 3. IMHO, I really don't like any of those ties. I think they could look really distracting and dated in your photos. Could you go a more classic route like:
