Help me choose a felon

I posted some free-for-the-taking stuff on Craigslist. I got two replies and googled the names of both responders.

Do I go with the guy convicted if receiving stolen guns who is also having girlfriend problems with friends requesting that he grow a set and deal with it rather than blathering all over FB? Or the guy convicted of assault several years ago and pot possession more recently?

I'm leaning towards the pot guy. Maybe he is less likely to cry on me.

    It's a pile of lumber scraps and an old storm door that I can't move myself. But I will try to just give them the address and not have any personal dealings. I have a tendency to over share while making chit chat.

    I don't even think you need a sign - just stick it on the curb, and people will take it. 

    Unless the little storage cabinet I picked up last year is really stolen goods....

    I don't know... if it is going to take a lot of work to move, pot guy may get half way through the work and then decide he doesn't want it any more.

    The pot head isn't replying to my messages. Why didn't I see this coming?

    Also, I got a third reply to the ad this morning saying essentially, "hey, how about I come pick out the good stuff and leave a pile of trash in your driveway? Is that cool?" No. Not cool.

    An update: pot head came and took it all. He called and told me that he had been here but forgot to leave a card in the door for me. Dang it! I want to know what the card said!
