Photographer for NJ Ceremony/Reception, PA Engagement

Hey fellow brides!

My fiancee and I live in Lafayette Hill, PA (right outside Philly) and are getting married in Jersey City, NJ. Our reception is at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerst, NJ.

We are looking for a photographer that will be willing to do an engagement shoot in Philly, even though our wedding is in North/Central Jersey. I know a lot of photographers include the engagement session in the package, and we would rather not book an independent engagement shoot if we don't need to.

Any recommendations?

I'm using the Artist Group. Check out the blog section of their website. They're out of Philly. They did my engagement pics in Jersey City. Wedding is in Summit and North Haledon NJ

My photographers are David and Amy Lau. I know they live in PA and most of the weddings they do are in New Jersey. They are both wonderful and take amazing pictures.

I also used The Artist Group, and they were amazing!! If you look through their blog, they travel all over NJ and also in the Philly area. We just got the digital images from our wedding 10 days ago and we're thrilled with how they turned out (and with a husband as a photography teacher, he has high standards).

Talk to Robert Wayne Photography. He's based out of northern NJ but when we asked about adding a second photographer to our package, he showed us the work of someone who is out of the Princeton area and someone else who lives in Philly. If your engagement session is too far for him, I would think he could use one of these photographers for engagement portraits.
