Vendor Reviews

Ok so I am way late doing this, but I figured better late than never!

Ceremony Venue, Chapel at Chestnut Square (McKinney) - B
We liked the idea of a small chapel, but it was almost too small.  We had more people than expected and it was packed.  It's a nice, small chapel and I've seen some nice weddings there.  Our ceremony was nice.  But it was hot, didn't cool off very well.  And the lady who usually runs things went on vacation the week of our wedding, so a volunteer stepped into help coordinate and she had only helped with two or three weddings before.  It all turned out fine, but was not the experience we were expecting.

Reception Venue, Elorado Country Club (McKinney) - A+
The reception was so much more beautiful than I imagined.  Cathy at Eldorado really  knows what she's doing.  The food was delicious, our guests are still talking about it.  The next day when my husband when back to check on things, even the bar tenders talked about how great the evening was.  Cathy  walks you through everything and helps make it the night you want.  I would reccommend this venue to anyone.

Cakes - Tabitha Ballard - A+
We loved Tabitha.  She met us for a tasting and we loved the cakes. Plus, she's super affordable!

Dress - Circle Park Bridal (Addison) - A
Small boutique type store in Addison.  They are super nice there and have some amazing dresses in all price ranges.  Since it's small, there isn't a huge amount to choose from, but  love the dress I found.

Alterations -Becky Fowler - A+++
I don't know what to say about Becky that hasn't been said a thousand times.  She is wonderful!  Getting my dress altered was one of my favorite parts of wedding preparations.  You get way more than what you pay for.

DJ - Mike Mahnich - A+
Mike is great!  He is more than willing to meet with you or talk to you as many  times as you want.  He also helped with ceremony music as well.  He really made the reception wonderful

Photography -Zach Seat Photography (based in Oklahoma City) - A++
Zach is my cousin and the first person I called about photography.  He is a professional photographer in Oklahoma City that specializes in weddings.  He brought another photographer with him and we were so pleased with our pictures.  They were everywhere we were and didn't miss a thing. Very talented photographers.

Video - Tim Palmar with Bellevie Cinema - B+
Tim is very affordable and easy to work with.

Make-up - Elinia Eads - A+
Elinia is wonderful!  She traveled to me for bridals and the wedding day and did an amazing job.  Only one of my four bridesmaids was going to get their make-up done, but once the others saw hers they ALL decided to get their make-up done.  She is so good and very reasonably priced as well.

Hair - Dya (die-ya) at Visible Changes - A+
Dya does my hair all of the time and I love her.  She does great work.  Not only was I happy with my hair,but my bridesmaids and mother were too.

Photobooth - Premier Photobooth - A
The photobooth was so fun! And it was stress free.  Once we communicated what we wanted, it was set up and taken care of.

Tuxes - Mens Wearhouse - A-
No major complaints but nothing to rave about either

Rehersal Dinner - Cyclone Anaya's (Allen) - A++
we love Cyclone, great food.  But they really out-did themselves, especially considering we had twice the amount of people show up than expected!

We had such a wonderful wedding.  It was so much more than I was expecting. I wish that I could go back and relive the day again!
