scenic spots for photos? (long island - south shore/great river area)

Hello ladies!


I am getting married on October 5 of this year in Bay Shore at St. Patrick’s Church and the reception will be held in Great River at Timber Point Mansion – does anyone have suggestions as to where we could take pictures between the ceremony and the reception? We have the following time slot open to take pictures: 3:45 – 6:00 PM.  I am still relatively new to Long Island and don’t know where to look. If we could find a beach spot, that would be ideal.

    What about Sunken Meadow Park or Argyle Lake in Babylon? sunken meadow has a beach but argyle is beautiful with the ducks and swans. Although in October, the ducks might be gone. Since you have such a large time frame, did you think about the ocean beaches (Jones, Robert Moses, captree)? You could google them and see which you like best.
