Bridal Shower Dress

I'm looking for a dress for my bridal shower which is in the middle of November in CT. All bridal showers I have been to have been in the spring/summer, so the bride always wore a white sundress or something like that. It's most likely going to be cold for my shower, so that won't work for me. Any ideas what I should wear and where I can find an appropriate dress?

I wore a navy blue tea-length dress with ivory cardigan to my shower (in March). You don't have to wear white.

I totally dig the LWD for a bridal shower. Not many chances to wear a LWD. I also took mine to wear for dinner on our honeymoon.

If it were me, I would probably do one of these with tights and a cardi.

My shower is late October and I'm either wearing a white dress with tights and a cardigan, or a sweater dress like msuprincess04 suggested. Both are good options!

I think I'm going to wear this dress with a cardigan. The shower is at a restaurant so I doubt I will be cold. Thanks for everyone's ideas!
