The Dude continues his treatments and all is going well.  He is holding steady with his levels (no drop but no gain).  We consider this a good thing.  He is being tested every week during his treatments and each week we are in expectation that his levels will drop.   He is, however, getting more and more fatigued with each treatment and the nausea is getting more pronounced.  Still he looks as scrumptious as ever and is taking it all in stride.  I love that man!
Jewel:  Jewel is the name I gave my gown.  I had real mixed feelings about my fitting today considering had things gone as we hoped I would be two weeks out from the wedding day.  The thought of putting the dress nearly brought me to tears but when I saw her on the sewing mannequin my heart melted.  She is so, so pretty!  How could I ignore her?
So I had the fitting and nearly passed out.  LOL!  I didn't lock my knees I don't think but I got real hot and dizzy.  I had to flick off my shoes and sit down for a few minutes and then I felt better.  My seamstress is the sweetest lady.  She just talked to me until I felt better. She says her brides pass out all the time.  She thinks it's the fact that we have to stand for so long while she is tucking and pinning.  Recall I have tons of work to do on my dress so I am standing for quite a bit.
Anyway, today was all about checking the tucks from my first fitting, chalking the zip line, rough pinning the pleating for my neckline, and seeing how to add the beading that I bought to her today to the gown. The belt is not yet added.  Here a few pics of her in progress.  Ignore the wrinkles.
This picture gives you an idea of how much tucking is going on.
