Doctor Who Wedding and Reception

My wedding is this July and is all focused around Doctor Who. I am looking for some off the wall ideas for everything. We have some ideas but I love hearing what everyone thinks would be fun and interactive for the guest.

My wedding and reception are the same as yours so here are some ideas that would work great.

Wedding

Groomsmen can wear any of the suits the 10th Doctor has worn throughout his 3 series. (For reference the BBC America page has lots of help there)
Bridesmaids can wear royal blue dresses and wear a TARDIS key necklace. I suggest grey heels or flats because grey is a neutral colour for this.
Mothers of the groom/bride wear a simple royal blue dress. My mother found a good one with a shawl for any body type at a store called Group USA. Either way I will find images for you in my later posts.
Fathers of the groom/bride should wear the black tux and bow tie of the "Titanic" episode of the Christmas Special with the 10th Doctor.
Music should be from the BBC soundtrack. There is a ton of great insturmental in the new doctor's era too.
Your bouquet should have a TARDIS key attached to it and the flowers should be simple. Bridal wreith and a few other kinds that make a light blue flower or white flower look good. If you have the budget... go for roses.

Reception

K9 or TARDIS card box for cards. Make according to the card size you choose. I believe a 6x6x8 inches box is good for the TARDIS. K9 is harder due to the size of his head and the construction needed...
Weeping angel or Fez center pieces. Number is attached but not written on the item itself.
A box of jelly babies at each table.

I don't know if you have seen this, but a lady shows how she made invitations for a party that look like the ones the Doctor sent to Amy, Rory and River.

Hers are for a birthday party, but maybe you can make it work for your wedding. At the very least, assuming you have time, there are directions to make your own envelopes. You can use blue paper like those invites.

Also, maybe make a guest book that looks like River's diary.

One more thing, I do not know if you use pinterest, but this lady has a board for a Doctor Who wedding.

Me too! Yay for another DW bride!
We're doing:
TARDIS 'key's' as escort cards
Circular Gallifreyian decorating the cake & embellishing the STD's
TARDIS blue BM dresses and GM vests/ties
TARDIS invites
Centerpieces that resemble the the glow of the TARDIS (I posted pics awhile back in DIY)
Our photobooth is allowing us to stock it ourselves with DW themed props (a Fez, bowties, sonic screwdriver, 4's scarf, ect...)

Still looking at things for the overall decor though

So glad I'm not the only Whovian bride! My fiance however is not a fan. So anything I incorporate it will be subtle.I'm using River's diary as a guest book, my dress will have a royal blue underskirt(petticoat?), and my bridesmaids are wearing Tardis blue dresses. Trying to sneak other things in. I do think I want to walk to Amy's song. Do you have any pictures from your wedding?
