Affordable Wedding in Houston?

Does anyone have a good suggestion for an affordable wedding in Houston for Spring 2014? The Woodlands, Tomball, Montgomery, Conroe, Brookshire locations are too far. I would prefer a place a little different from the standard hotel ballroom with carpet.  I've looked at multiple places listed on the knot but would like to spend less than $15000 for food/open bar/taxes/fees/linens/servers.

Any suggestions, or should I expect to spend at least $18K for the venue/food/alcohol for 130 people?

    You should try posting some thing like this in your local board. They might be able to better assist you.

    Tuscany Villa was $18,900 for 150 people and $15,900 for 100 (plus $$ for the better bar). He also said it was a special for signing up by Labor Day, so I don't know if it's gone up now. Unfortunately, they are all booked for the sping Saturdays that work with our schedule - leaving only the end of May.  I think it would be too hot for an outdoor ceremony there :(
