Hi all,

I'm getting married in Princeton in February and I'd love any florist recommendations you might have.

Thanks!

Re: Recommendations for florits in Princeton, New Jersey

  • We're getting married in Princeton as well and contacted several area florists.  I'm not sure what your budget is but our top two were Monday Morning Flower and Balloon Company (Princeton) and Dahlia Floral Concepts (Pennington).  Monday Morning was more flexible with budget but we ended up paying a little bit more and going with Dahlia because we really liked the ideas Adrienne had for our venue. We also saw several of her wedding arrangements in person and loved them.

Monday Morning Flower & Balloon Company ups their pricing for flowers...I contacted them for wedding flowers, met with Georgianne to get our quote and a few weeks later, contacted her for "sweet 16" flowers (same exact flowers for centerpieces, etc) and they were about 2500.00 cheaper....for the SAME flowers!!!!  Dahlia Floral is nice and they're local to Princeton (in Ewing).  I will say that I am getting gorgeous flowers for well under the budget I originally allotted for flowers at Aztec Florists in Ewing.  She quoted my wedding party and ceremony flowers at around 300-400. She does awesome work and I have heard awesome things about her.

  • Thanks so much for the replies!  I'm meeting with Dahlia soon and I will check out Aztec.  Thanks so much for the recommendations.  Good luck to both of you!

  • We are using Monday Morning Flowers for our November wedding at the Princeton Marriott.  I have family and friends who have used them for personal flowers for years.  I also know many people who used them for formal events.  She came up with the exact look that I was going for.  I can't wait to see how it all turns out.
  • I just wanted to reply about monday morning. we didn't end up selecting them but we received quotes from 6 florists and they were right in the middle pricewise.  The quote for 11 large centerpieces, ceremony decor (alter arrangements and pew flowers, plus arrangement for program table), some reception decor (including placecard table arrangement, cocktail tables, questbook table arrangements and hurricanes), 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 12 bouts, 3 corsages and bridal bouquet was less than the 2500 (including tax and delivery) the above poster said was the difference in her two quotes..and we definitely didn't pick the cheapest flowers. I'm just surprised to hear about a 2500 difference when that was more than our entire quote for a pretty sizable amount of flowers and decor.
