Signature drink

Hey guys,

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

We’re thinking about having a signature cocktail at our wedding (we’re having an open bar but thought we could put a sign out about trying our signature drink). A favorite drink of ours which has been dubbed “Rum-onade” is Rum and lemonade. We might add a third ingredient but haven’t decided yet. My question for you is what should we call it?

Some ideas so far:

Life gives you lemons

Kick in the lemons (FI idea)

She’s got you by the lemons (Fi again lol he fancies himself a comedian)

Better Together Rum-onade (my personal fave)

Glass full of sunshine

Any of these? Other ideas?

    I like rum-onade better than the rest. I think She's Got You By the Lemons would be tacky at a wedding. If not, I like your favorite.
  • @misssunshine17 I agree Haha Fi thinks the name should make people laugh. I  disagree, but I'll give him points for trying.
  • I like your favorite.  If you want to add another flavor, maybe flavor the lemonade with something like mint or berries.
  • You could also try mixing the lemonade with the Barcardi flavored rums. Guests could pick their flavor of choice, and this would make it more efficient for your bartenders.
  • I like the idea "Life gives you lemons." very sweet and sentimental
  • I like your favorite. References to testicles isn't appropriate for a wedding.

    If you want to add something to it, I like @jessicabessica's suggestion of berries or mint - both very good in rum drinks.

  • I like either "Better Together Rum-onade" or "Glass full of sunshine".  Or you could say something like "Main Squeeze Rum-onade".

  • Thanks for the opinions ladies, I suppose when we were first kicking around ideas I was thinking more along the lines of what I would name a lemonade and Rum drink and not as much the wedding aspect of it. I think we will go with Better Together Rum-onade (our first dance is going to be to the Jack Johnson song)!
