Wedding TIGHT BUDGET

Hey Seattle Peeps,

So my fiance and I are getting married next in April in Seattle. We are on a tight budget so has anyone ever planned or is planning their wedding working on a $10,000 budget? Any tips on cheap venues, catering, decor and coodinators you are working with? We also don't have family here that can help fund some stuff or stay up the night before setting up. HELP!!!!!

    Seattle - HERE! Like dreamergirl said this is a international board I know the Seattle board is dead. I would suggest somewhere like Marination Ma'Kai on Alki they could close down and do catering. I would recommend checking out the community center's for room rentals. Alki Bathhouse is awesome. In regards to keeping catering on the cheaper side, I recommend a smaller restaurant that does catering rather than a catering company. You honestly don't need a wedding coordinator, it's not hard to plan a wedding if you stay organized.
