Need wording for my 'family wedding picture table'?

I love the idea of putting together a table of our parents and grandparents, showcasing their long marriages. I have antique picture frames, took card stock to put their marriage years, it look adorable. I just feel like I should put some sort of poem, sign, something to show everyone that they are our inspiration. Any ideas? Has anyone else done a table like this?  thanks!!

  • I think people would get the idea jf you just put the pictures there. I'd avoid trying to give it some cutesy name. A poem wouldn't be a bad thing or maybe song lyrics?

This.  The table doesn't need a name.
  • People will figure out what it is on their own. Pinterest has made brides think they need a poem/ sign for evething.

  • You could name it "Where we come from" or "Two families becoming one".  Or you could have "Brides Family" and Groom's Family" signs.

  • I've seen these tables at every wedding I have gone to.  None of them had signs, yet everyone understood what they were.
  • My cousin had this at her wedding.  There wasn't a banner or sign defining the table. She put place cards under every frame with the names of the people in the photo, and the relation to the bride or groom.  All the guests loved the table.

  • We had wedding photos of our parents, grandparents, and some great-grandparents.  I just put them in nice frames, printed their names and wedding dates onto cardstock and used punches to make tented labeled, and had a beautiful arrangemen of flowers.  No one is confused when there aren't poems...but I know I personally do a little internal eyeroll when there are.
  • I only put my fiancé's parents pic and the wedding pic of my mom and dad and mom and stepdad...with the sign, "Our parents share a combined 70 years of marriage together. Through their marriages we have learned the importance of respect, love, honor and commitment to one another."
