jewelry or no jewelry with this dress?

Any suggestions on jewelry to wear with this dress? I was originally thinking statement earrings and a small pendant my mom wore on her wedding day, but now I'm second guessing that. I think the dress might call for a bit more?
Also,  I am wearing a lace trimmed veil for the ceremony, which I will remove afterwards. Do I replace that with another hair piece?

    I don't think you should go overboard on the jewelry.  I am in the "the dress should be the statement and the jewelry should be an accompaniment to that statement" boat.

    I would wear a nice pair of earrings...drop/chandelier if you have your hair up, or studs if you have your hair down.  A nice bracelet and no necklace.  But if you want to wear a necklace make it simple like the one in the picture.

    As for your hair piece.  If you want you could put one on after you remove your veil but it isn't necessary.  You could even get some nice blingy hair clips and wear them the whole time, even with your veil.

    I agree with Maggie... only wear minimum jewelry. Sounds like your mom's necklace would be great :)

    I agree with needing minimum jewelry. Maybe some drop earrings and coordinating bracelet. I personally am not a fan of necklaces with wedding gowns.

    Me three! When it comes to weddings, I really think that simply, classic jewelry is the best. I wore some pretty drop earrings and an antique watch that was my something borrowed (it belonged to MIL's grandmother).

    I did switch to a fun hairpiece for the reception after I had taken off my veil, but that was just because I thought it would be fun.

    I'm a big fan of classic pearls, which are simple & timeless. They go with pretty much anything, and I think they'd compliment your dress without distracting attention.

    Has your fiancé given you a necklace? Personally, I think this dress could handle an amazing necklace, and wearing a necklace he gave you could make it very special.

    ah, interesting that everyone thinks necklaces and wedding dresses don't go. Personally I would always wear a necklace with a low-cut sweetheart neckline

    No ddhb but I have the necklace my mom wore when she married my dad.. She passed 15 yrs ago..
