Re: Zombie Engagement pics

  • Confession: concept aside, I did not like it. Half-ass makeup jobs, bad emoting (or just not bothering)not the most tightly composed, immaculate clothes??!??! among other issues. I'm not even sure the photog was into it, or more likely put zero thought into what was proposed. seems like the wrong format for what was proposed. Like the main thought process was "it's your money, whatever the hell you want, I'll just do what I always do for insipid engaged couples"

If anyone in this shoot had a remote semblance of what the story actually was, it should have been told in ten well-selected pics. Not a few good ones and a bunch of proofs.

  • Completely agree with Dharma.  Total half-assery.
  • IOW - go big or go home.
  • I laughed out loud on that. Really??/

  • I'm not into Zombies, so the whole thing is weird to me.

But I agree, go big or go home.

  • 1) the zombie in the pink dress needed a different bra.
    2) the picture of the zombie with a stick "in his throat" was poorly done - it looked like the typical touristy picture of "holding" a landmark in your hand
  • ::sits alone in the "thought it was cute" camp::
  • There are a hundred things that annoy me about these engagement photos, and none of them have to do with them choosing a zombie concept. First and foremost, I have an issue with these being engagement photos that are depicting a wedding (albeit a fake one).

  • Never have, never will understand the zombie thing.

  • Yeah, when the fad passes they'll be 2 assholes with outdated photos. But I'm not into the zombie thing either.
