  Well first you need to get over the fact that you cannot have the real silk chiffon dresses now.  Harping on that will make picking a BM dress even harder.

  
  

  Second, the BM dresses do not really have to coordinate with your dress.  What it comes down to is how formal a wedding you are having.  Like for instance, for a formal wedding I would expect the BMs to be in long dresses, while for a more casual affair shorter dresses would be more appropriate.  Also, do the dresses have to be chiffon?  Having your girls in satin or taffeta would also be appropriate.

  
  

  Honestly, even though your dress is a ballgown it is not super elaborate so I think short chiffon dresses would go well.  I would find three options that you like and I would have your BMs vote on which one they like best, because since they are having to wear the dresses they should get some say in the decision.

  Did you look at David's Bridal? I wore this dress as a bridesmaid and totally loved it. Didn't even matter to me that it wasn't silk or a fancier fabric. It felt great...and looked great.
