Flamingo have very recently remodelled their indoor garden chapel and I LOVE it! Its really well lit (my pictures do not do it justice) and decorated in pinks, champagne, chocolate brown and BLING! When I started planning I was absolutely adamant that I didnt want an indoor wedding and I spent months planning the detail for the outdoor gazebo - but after seeing the remodelled room decorated in our wedding colours I just had to change venues.
I also love that it is so private, quiet and intimate. It would seat about 40 guests comfortably. However to change from the Gazebo to the Indoor Chapel with the Flamingo we had to change the time of our wedding :-( cos they schedule indoor weddings on the half hour and outdoor wedding on the hour.But we also saved $150 because of the gazebo fee.
All in all it works out great for us because we will get more time to take pictures in the gardens after our 3:30 ceremony before the 5pm DDB pick up. We also have a cocktail hour for guests at Carlos n Charlies while we take pictures so FI and I will actually be able to mingle with guests before we head off on our private photo tour with Todd. Now to find out if we can get live video streaming of our wedding.....
