Hi!  Does anyone have a suggestion for a reasonably priced place to get my wedding manicure on the strip?  I am getting married and staying at Caesars Palace but a shellac mani runs $135.  That seems super high.  I fly in Wednesday and get married on Saturday so I can't really get them done at home.  Thanks!

    My sister and I got shellac manicures at the Planet Hollywood Salon for $60. They turned out great and lasted 3 weeks for me!

    I've been debating this myself, to do it before I leave or when I get there.

    I would have them done on a Wednesday, flying Thursday, with the wedding on Sunday. Shellac lasts a long time, and only costs $25 at home.

    Thinking I'll do it beforehand and have one less thing to worry about in Vegas.

    I'm going off the strip for my mani/pedi. I want mine to be fresh for the wedding so I want it done the day before. I found a place not far from Paris (where we are staying) that is only $35 for a shellac manicure. Here is the link:

    I did gellish (similar to shellac) at Mirage, I think it was around $80.  It lasted for about a month.  Also had one done at MGM for about the same price and it chipped within 4 days!  I was not happy about that, but I called and got my money back at least!  The hotel spas are going to be more expensive then a local off-strip place.  The one plus to the spas though is you usually have access to the spa area for day.
    We had our dream wedding at Mirage on May 3, 2014!

    I had shellac mani and reg pedi done before leaving for Vegas. Had them done on Saturday, and wedding was Thursday. They are just starting to chip now over 2 weeks later.

    @jaime85129 just polish.  I called the Flamingo, which is a across from CP and they charge $70.  I probably will do that.

    Wow im so in the wrong business. My personal opinion is just do a regular polish most professional work will last a week minimum. Just my two cents

    I will be doing mine (shellac) almost a week before the wedding. I just cant justify $70 for it. My normal nailpolish with top coat lasts about 7 days without chipping.

    A few months before my wedding I started to use Vinylux (from the makers of Shellac). I bought it from ebay and its been great. I wore romantique for my wedding day, which is the same shellac shade I was planning to use. Regardless of the brand (opi,essie, nails inc) I never get more than 2 days without a chip when using a regular nail varnish. I've had a lot more wear from Vinylux, its been lasting a week without chipping and it comes off just like a regular polish. I had been debating whether to get shellac in the UK, which really wouldn't have been successful four days before the wedding (too much growth in four days) or pay over $100 for shellac which would only have lasted half my holiday. I find that my nails grow so much with shellac that after a week it doesn't look very good. I do find that I damage my nail with shellac so Vinylux has been a great find.
