XP: Vistaprint Postcards

I asked about this on Invites and Paper, but didn't get a response. FI and I are doing postcard STDs and it looks like we would be able to save a TON of money by using their postcard mailing service. Has anyone done this before? Is it worth it? Most importantly, would it be poor etiquette to do so? I know invites need to be hand addressed, but does the same apply for STDs?

Hm...looks to me like you only save 10 percent on postage (minus the $20 handling fee), plus the savings of time...while I wouldn't care if I received a postcard with printed address, I probably wouldn't use the service myself. Don't think there's anything wrong in doing so, though!

Well, the big savings is that if I use the mailing service, I can use a Vistaprint groupon towards postage as well as the postcards.

I never used their mailing service but when I ordered my STD postcards from them, I will say they were very much get-what-you-pay-for quality. The color was kinda off, it printed our lavender (blue purple) as more of a lilac (red purple)... of course this only matters if you have OCD like me, but, it still was disappointing that they didn't come out as we expected them to.

I didn't use their mailing service, but I have used their post cards twice now. Once for our std. They are nice quality and if you would have a problem with colors they will reprint your order. Colors on computers are different with every screen. They have wonderful customer service. Just give them a call with any problems and they will rush print and mail new products to you. I have ordered hundreds of items from them for everything from showers, wedding and birthdays.
