Supplying beer cups for the Reception

At our venue, it is up to us to supply the cups for the keg beer. I'm having trouble coming up with a # of cups to get. We had 300 people RSVP. I feel it's unrealistic to get 1 per person, but how many extra should we purchase? Thanks for the input :)

    I would try to ballpark how many beers each guest will have and get that many cups - so say you have 300 people drinking and expect them to have at least 3 beers each - 900 cups.  They may reuse them but I would assume they won't - with a crowd that big, cups will be abandoned and lost and dropped etc.

    I agree with this and would almost suggest even more cups than that. Cups sadly get lost, dropped and abandoned often at weddings.

    Yes, I would probably aim for 5-6 per person as long as it's not cost prohibitive.

    This. Go to Costco or Sam's. You can always return them if there's a package you don't use. Better too many than not enough.
