Grey Suits

My FI would like he and the groomsmen to wear grey suits. Because his attendants are dispersed throughout the country, we need to find a store/vendor that has retail locations nationwide. I have looked at Men's Warehouse, but they only have a grey tux for rent (definitely not the style he wants) and their grey suits are a bit on the pricey side.

Suggestions?

    Why not let the groomsmen wear any grey suit that they'd like?

    They don't have to match exactly.

    That way, if a groomsman wants to invest in a $500 suit, he can. Another groomsman can borrow a grey suit from a buddy. Another can wear one he already owns. And yet another can buy one from Macy's or JCPenney for less than $200.

    No problem!

    You and FI can "gift" matching ties and/or pocket squares to the guys so they have some cohesiveness if your FI would like that.

    DH chose black suits for his GMs who were also scattered throughout the country. It was only about $30 more for them to buy the suits versus renting so they all chose to purchase them. He ended up going through Macy's when they had a good sale and we had a coupon, which the salesman applied to all their suits and then just shipped them to their houses.

    I am having a similar discussion with mine about the grey suit thing...The only problem/concern I could see is that saying "grey" means many many different shades that range from light to dark...is there a more specific term to a "medium" grey?

    Does it really matter? :-) Honestly the world won't end if they don't match exactly.

    If your fiance truly wants something matching exactly, he will have to make arrangements with his groomsmen to purchase the exact same suit.
