Finding a MOB dress in 18 petite

Hey, my mom is having a difficult time finding something to wear to my wedding in 8 months.

She likes typical MOB dresses with jackets and wants something knee or tea length, any color but black. We've checked all the department stores and this seems to be a size they just don't carry in formal wear??

David's Bridal carries plus size petites, but none of them look great and are pretty pricey

I hope someone can offer suggestions- she's pretty bummed about the situation?

I don't know how the Nordstrom line runs, which is why I included them.

The only store I know that carries plus size petite is Talbots, and their dress clothing selection is very poor, regardless of size. I suggest you look at Nordstrom, Macy's, Alfred Angelo, or Lord and Taylor for women's size dresses and alter the dress.
