Loews wedding- photos on PSFS roof

I'm getting married in October at the Loews in Center City. My fiancé and I were really excited to have a photo taken on the roof of the building in front of the iconic PSFS sign, but we were told that we needed to hire security in order to do this. Security can only be hired for a minimum of four hours for $500, which seems excessive for just a few photos- but we were really looking forward to doing this! Anyone get married at the Loews who found a way around this? Or was it woth the extra expense?

    Do you have to hire their security or can you call around for rates on other companies?

    The Loews provides a security guard who is under their employment for when you go to the roof but you will have to provide him with a tip.  We were married there in September, so unless something has changed you should not have to hire outside security.
