    Firstly, Welcome and Congrats!

Secondly, What is your budget? Keep in mind there is a event/wedding tax on everything, I believe it is 20%. If you set aside a 15G budget and you set aside $100 per a head for dinner, you really should aim for $80.

The bellagio may not have something that holds 50 people for a ceremony. I seem to recall seeing all smaller amounts of people when we looked and needed up too 65.   -http://www.bellagio.com/weddings/

We didn't look at the Wynn but here is there link - http://www.wynnlasvegas.com/MeetingsAndWeddings/Weddings

There is many companies out there that do transportation.

  • Welcome congratulations. Let us know ur budget then we can offer more help
  • Hi Girls,
Thanks for your help.  Our budget is around $20,000.00.  Not including flights, hotel, and dress.
    Is that doable???
  • We were thinking ceremony Bellagio, reception a small ballroom at Wynn.  Is it a pain to transport guests or should we stay at one place?

  • 20K is totally doable, just kind of depends on what your priorities are if it's going to seem like you're sacrificing things. Renting a ballroom adds up fast if you want a lot of decor, lighting, etc.

Lots of brides have ceremony at one hotel and reception at another! There are tons of companies that will rent large vans or buses, but watch out for their minimum time commitment. Some of them charge a 1 hour minimum, others 2 hours.

Is there something specific about the Bellagio that you want to have the ceremony there? The Wynn has beautiful ceremony venues as well.
  • I love the fountains of the Bellagio.  I love the terrace as well....
  • Your budget is doable as long as you are willing to make cuts. For everything we wanted, for the same budget, we had to move off strip. Which we don't regret doing at all. I am absolutely in love with our venue.

The terrace is for a max of 34 people and in front of the fountain is up too 10 people. The wynn has a lovely courtyard you can get married in. I think it is called the primrose.

  • KikMira where did you do your ceremony?

Again, thanks for all the input
  • Hi Jodi, We are getting married off strip at Siena Golf Club, ceremony on the lawn and reception at the bistro, - http://www.sienaweddingsandevents.com/

  • Hi again :)
We're in very similar situations!  Kiki is right, Bellagio terrace is max 34 people, which is the reason we couldn't do it either. We've looked at these places for the ceremony:
    - HYDE Bellagio, they quoted me 11k for a reception and immediate ceremony, 4-6.30pm.
    - Mandalay Bay, Valley of the falls, Garden Terrace, Tropical sunset... if you go to their website the have some packages available too.
    - Aria have some good packages too.. there is one called 'Wine, Dine and socialize' which looked nice, and I thought it was a good price... 15k
    - Wynn Primrose... which is what we're going with... prob go for the Opulence package with a few upgrades.
    - Ghost Bar @ Palms, This was reasonably priced - but didn't allow children at all.
Looked at the following for receptions:
    - Mandarin Oriental Ballroom C - min. for F&B was 15k, so you'd be pushing for ceremony and reception to be under 20k.
    - Mesquite room at Four Seasons, min F&B 14k.
    - More recently we've been looking at Tropicana's new Havana room... look beautiful, but min 75ppl.
    - Wynn or Encore ballroom... but I'm waiting on more pics, and pricing!

    hope this helps :)
  • I am researching ceremonies and reception places as well. I'm running into a problem that there are very limited places that can accomodate a DJ together with dinner. So far I only found Border Grill at Mandalay that can do that. Anyone have any experience with that venue? As far as ceremony...Mandalay pool or Flamingo pool seem like nice choices
  • @ lilinka25 - I believe Maggianos can accommodate a DJ with dinner.

  • Thanks girls.  Will keep you posted
  • Hey @jodianne222 Apparently Hyde does weddings, It sounds like it holds more people than the terrace. Someone posted a wedding photo from there on my facebook.

  • I had my wedding reception at Border Grill and loved it. The food is amazing, the service was great. We were in one of their basement patio side rooms, 40 people. We didn't have a DJ, just opted for the restaurant's music and did a post-reception after party in a suite. We didn't really care about about dancing.

    I
think Capital Grille and Joe's Stonecrab will also do DJs, too.
