types of enveloping

does anyone have a suggestion on how to envelope the invites besides the standard way? I am looking for somthing different yet classy

    Or you could use envelopes that look normal on the outside but have lining on the inside.

  •  I second the Vistaprint suggestion. You can pretty much add whatever you want to the envelopes. For our wedding invitation envelopes, we got customized stickers from them, that matched the invitation to close the envelope. We've used them a lot over the wedding process, and can't say enough for how great they were! :)

  • If you want something classy then I suggest using basic, traditional envelopes.  Anything else could make it difficult for the post office workers or the sorting machines to read the addresses.  If you want to make something unique then do so with the invites not the envelopes.  Remember most people will rip up the envelope shortly after receiving the invite.
