100 days!!!

Ladies,
I can't believe we just hit our 100-day to the wedding mark! When we started, we had 16-months of planning and now we have just a little over 3 months left!

I posted previously about  having problems with the confirmation letter from the Church. My dad (who is a pastor) sent an email on Monday evening and wouldn't you know on Tuesday, I had the confirmation letter. I guess all my emails from last April didn't matter cause I obviously am not a member of the clergy. Oh well. I ain't complaining. I am thankful we got that taken care of.

Also got my makeup artist. I will be getting airbrush (first trial will be before my shower in February when I go home to MA). I also plan on paying for my bridal party as well as my mom. That's part of my gift to them.

Ordered my veil and tiara. I was iffy on the tiara but then my FI mentioned the fact that I am always waving at folks like I am a princess so I figured it'll give him a chuckle to see me in one walking down the aisle. I even plan on sneaking in my wave just to get him to laugh :-).

So far, still need to figure out the videographer, get my shoes, sew our outfits for the traditional Nigerian wedding and reception outfit.

Last but not the least, I need to purge my house!!! FI will be putting his place up for rent and moving in with me. So I'll be cleaning up my house from top to bottom in the next month so that he can start moving his stuff in. That way, he'll only need to bring a suitcase when we get back.

My favorite part of the whole planning? Our honeymoon to Paris!!! CAN'T WAIT! It'll be my first trip there. I have been around Europe but never to Paris so this'll be a great experience to share with FI (then hubby).

OK...Thanks for letting me share Embarassed.

Congrats on hitting your 100 day mark and all of your checks!  So glad the church issue was resolved.

I'm also getting airbrush make up for my BMs as a gift - I think they'll really appreicate it.

Wow, PARIS!  That is so exciting!  I went once with a girlfriend, but I definitely want to go back with FI some day.

    Thanks ladies.

@ cincy2011 - Do you have recommendations for must see sights in Paris? We'll be there for 7-days and then will be heading to Amsterdam for 3 days to spend some time with my sister who lives there as an expat. If you have recommendations of places to visit and things to do, please pass them along. Thank you!

I really only know about the typical tourist destinations b/c we were only there for four days.

    Of course we went to:
    - eiffel tower
    -  the louvre
    - champs elysees
    - notre dame
    - seine river

But make sure to go to a Parisian cafe, order chocolate croissants and drink and sit there and people watch...it's a wonderful feeling!
