Ladies of etiquette I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU! for your incredible advice. I don't post much but I'm a long time lurker and y'all have really helped me avoid some horrible faux pas suggested by friends and family members. My mom was so shocked and proud when I continued to shrug off my uncles "super wonderful money making machine" of an idea aka the dollar dance. My wedding is next weekend and I'm so happy with how smoothly we've put it all together and that FI can sit back and relax until then. You all get a lot of flack from the *super-special-etiquette-doesn't-apply-to-me-because* crazies but you truly are appreciated :)

    Congrats on the upcomming wedding!  I'm glad that the community was able to help you out with your planning.  As someone who reads this board daily for the past two months I am glad you were able to take the advice, and I also want to thank the others whih have pointed out a few things I didn't know/think about myself!
