What size should I use for outer envelopes?

I want to use outer and inner envelopes, but our invitations only come with one. The invitation is 5.25" by 7.25" and the envelope it comes with is 5.5" by 7.5" ... unfortunately, 5.75" by 7.75" envelopes don't seem to exist ... anywhere. Anyone have advice? Will it look silly if I go bigger that that?

Yes, I think if you went with something bigger it would look weird. Honestly, I'd just skip the outer envelope and mail it as is.

I don't know where to get them but I say if you want them, and can afford them, go for it.

Search online there is multitude of sites which serves you the best. They also give you suggestions in regard to your problem.

This one has the 5.75 you are looking for, but it's 8.75 wide. I don't think that's too big of a difference.

I agree with Tammyym1001. That size is also called an A9 envilope.
