  Honestly, I would not even worry about your lack of butt. Just find a dress you really love.

  A-line skirts are probably more "forgiving" than sheaths, but it's really all about what you feel gorgeous in.

  I have the opposite problem from you, but I know that I stayed away from A line because they really accentuated the size of my butt. So that may be the style you want to look for if you would like your butt to look fuller.

  I think a well fitted dress and a extra dose of confidence will make you extra beautiful regardless if you have butt or not. 

  
  

  That being said, if you have a small butt, don't go with anything that enhance your shoulder.

  Hey thanks all. I guess I'm not going to limit myself to certain styles just yet. I guess seeing them on me will be my best bet. I was watching that episode of say yes to the dress where they talk about various body concerns and they had one on having a lot if butt but none on no butt, so that's why I decided to ask here..

  My bust measurement (for an Essense of Australia dress) was a size 2-4, waist was a 4, my hip (butt) measurement was a solid 10.  !!  Thankful for alterations.  And corset backs, haha!
