I went shopping with only my mom, and she loved this one too - though no tears or "the moment" like is always on TV. My sisters & BMs liked it, FMIL said it was lovely but also that a ballgown is her favorite shape. At first I thought I wanted a ballgown... but then fell in love with this one - definitely more mermaid-ish.
Thoughts? It's Essense of Australia D1521 - the fit is a bit awkward in the pictures (I'm 3 sizes different in the bust to the hips... so a corset back instead of a zipper and some alterations should help quite a bit).
Also - our colors are teal and purple - which color sash would you suggest? It comes with the dress in either tan, ivory, or black - or do I ignore the one that comes with it and use fabric to match the other colors? Bridesmaids will probably be in a dark teal.
