Help with dress decision?

Hi all!

So I have gone dress shopping a few times and tried on a ton of dresses, and am down to two that I really like.  They are incredibly similar, both by Allure.

Dress 1 - Allure 8957, satin ruched scoop/sweetheart top, tulle skirt.

Dress 2 - Allure 8919, satin ruched sweethear top, satin skirt.

They are so similar, and I can think of positives and negatives to both... for example, I feel like the tulle skirt is almost asking to be stepped on an ripped at the reception while dancing, but I love that it makes me feel like a soft creampuff.  With the satin skirt, I really am not sure how I feel about the bustle, but it is much lighter weight and has pockets (awesome).

Here are pictures - please ignore how neither of these dresses fit me (one day I will own a store designed specifically for busty women) - and we didn't get a super good shoft of the all satin (my mom needs to get better at using her phone camera!)

Any opinions, advice, etc are welcome, since I seem to be unable to decide between the two!

    They are both beautiful on you - personally, I like dress #2 a little better.  I prefer that neckline, and I like the satin more than the tulle.  The waist also seems to be fitted just a little bit lower, which is really flattering on you.

    I like the satin a lot more than the tulle. The tulle one looks a little ballerina-esque. JMHO though. They both are very pretty.

    I prefer the all satin dress to the tulle dress.  The tulle dress reminds me of something a ballerina would wear for a performance.

    I also like the sweetheart on the satin more then the scoop on the tulle.

    Edit: apparently southernbelle and I are using the same mind today.

    I also like Dress #2.  It suits you a lot better (the switch between the tulle and the bodice material in Dress #1 "cuts" you in half).

    I prefer Dress #1.  #2 is too plain for me, even with an added belt.  Edit to fix a fail on my part

    Thanks ladies :)  I had already been starting to lean towards the all-satin one the more I thought about it, and this is just helping to confirm!!

    ^^^This. The lower waistline gives your seamstress more to work with to flatter your figure.
