My dress has allot of beading and crystals on it I LOVE IT!! However when i picked it out I forgot to factor in that i have supper sensitive skin, If I scratch my skin is read for hours.. So my problem is that my wearing it for just the fittings my arms are red and it looks like a have huge rash..I thought about buying sleeves for but i feel like it would take away from my dress. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can avoid the beading  from rubbing on my skin.

There's nothing you can do but remove the beading in the areas where you notice you're rubbing against.

    Sorry.

  • The seamstress took away beading from under the arms. I've heard also of adding a thin layer of material to cover the beading where it scratches you.
  • I would have your seamstress remove the beading in those areas. You could also buy a bolero that looks good with your dress and wear it for part of the time to give your skin a break.

  • If you google Kate Middleton, you'll see that the gold Jenny Packham she wore last month has nude fabric under the arms- this is why!
  • You can also put bodyglide on your arms where it would rub against the dress.   It's used by athletes to prevent chafing.

Chafing from sweating and thigh rub...unfortunately not from jabby beads or scratchy material ;-)
