Help with BM dresses please

I'm having trouble choosing BM dresses for my 2 ladies. My dress is ivory  and the neckline is sort of a dip not a sweetheart. The dresses I like are from Target and my colors are grey, shades of purple, damask and silver. I am wanting to buy for them glitter TOMS to match the ones I will be wearing under my dress.

Now, I'm torn between this one shoulder rosette (in shiny plum and plum spice) or a sweetheart strapless for them in cement grey. The dresses aren't available in the stores, only online, so I can't have them try them on unless I order both styles for both girls and have them decide. I asked my girls their opinion and my best friend likes grey strapless, my sister likes the one shoulder with her in the dark purple and bf in the light purple. I also thought maybe a good compromise would be to do a strapless in the dark purple. Bf doesn't think the one shoulder would flatter my sister's figure (she just had 2 kids back to back and they will be 1 and 2 by the wedding, so she is still losing baby weight at the moment. Sister's wedding dress was strapless and I thought she looked great, but she is against the sweetheart for some reason). 

Can you ladies help me with maybe a happy medium or what you think looks best with my dress?

    You could have the one that likes strapless in the last link you posted and the one that likes the strap in the "one shoulder rosette" in the same purple.  I think that is a good compromise and that the dresses would look nice together.  ETA I think with the ivory TOMS and your ivory dress, purple dresses would look much nicer than grey dresses.

    Can you find a local store that has dresses in similar styles so they can go try the style on to see which one they feel most comfortable in? Target does have a great return policy, you can order online & return at the store. So if you have to, you can order for your sister each style, have her try it on & go from there. Another option is to just pick a color & let them choose what style of dress they want to wear, if it's all the same color, they will still match.

    I think I've decided to do the dark purple in strapless for both of them. I think that having them both in the dress with the one strap looks silly for some reason.

    I also think that you need to select dark purple dress. You will look good in this color.

    Do they both come in the same color ?  If so, I would do one of each in matching or coordinating colors.

    Stuck in box. That was the plan originally as my sister is tanned/ dark hair/dark eyes and looks great in dark purple. My friend has brunette hair/blue eyes and fair skin and would look best in light purple.
