I'm not sure if this fits here or not.

I have a question about getting gifts for those in the wedding party and such. We have gifts for our bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl and ring bearer. We have seven others helping with the wedding that volunteered to help with different things as soon as they found out we were engaged plus our parents who are not giving us money for the wedding but helping in some form. I want to get a gift for the seven friends who are helping as well as our parents but I don't know what is acceptable. A small gift, a thank you note? I'm not good at gift giving. I'm actually horrible about it because my family focuses on the children for all gift giving occasions so I so used to just getting gifts for kids. What did you give? Any suggestions?

  • What about a small gift card and a thank you note?

  • I think just a small gift, such as a box of nice chocolates or something, along with a nice thank you card/note should be fine.

  • Bottle of wine?
I know my mom and a couple of the girls helping would love that and we have a local winery right down the road!

That would be a good idea for my FI's parents because they are kind of hard to buy for.
