Floral Centerpiece Risers

I wanted to have those tall centerpieces on each of my tables for my reception. However usually florists charge anywhere from 100-150 for those type of arrangements. I was thinking i would buy/make centerpiece risers to place the arrangement on top of to give it the same affect. My wedding is going towards a vintage 1920's theme since the venue is in a mansion. Can anyone give me suggestions on places to get these types of items? ( i forgot to mention that i will be having around 27 tables.... HELP!

Re: Floral Centerpiece Risers

  • Why not just get really tall vases? Your florist should have them.
  • Would you be able to see through the risers? So people can see across the table.

  • The reason florists charge $100-$150 for those centerpieces is not because of the height of them, but because they tend to involve using quite a bit more product (ie flowers) then lower centerpieces.  So even if you buy or make your own risers you will still have to pay for the arrangements that will be placed on top.
