Bubbles or Party Glasses as Favors?

HI All,

 

This seems like something silly, but I am trying to decide between giving our guests bubbles or those neon party sunglasses for them to wear- I figured both would be good for some nice photo opportunities (the bubbles floating as we come down the aisle or do our first dance versus everyone wearing those shades in pictures), so which do you think is less cheesy and more appreciated by our guests (we have a lot of guests who are older- parents friends, grandparents, etc. so not sure if they would even wear the glasses, but I love the look, so maybe I can just get them for the bridal party and some family?)

 

Any suggestions?

    Between bubbles and sunglasses, I would vote sunglasses because it's something I could keep. 

    I was at a wedding where they handed out the sunglasses around 9pm, so after dinner and while people were dancing.  It made it fun and by then even the older folks had a few drinks so everyone was wearing them.  
    We had our dream wedding at Mirage on May 3, 2014!

    Yeah, I think you are right KTBabe, I think I may have to wait on all our stuff though to see if we can even do favors because money my dad and stepmom said they would give us towards the wedding has now been withdrawn due to some personal issues, so I may have to even rethink being able to give favors :(

    Since it's basically soap, some places are concerned with the residue it can leave (esp if someone spills theirs) and that they could end up with a slip and fall lawsuit.  I do feel like most places allow bubbles, but it's always best to check.
