Shoes - need some help

So I purchased a pair of gorgeous sparkly shoes that I was planning to wear during my wedding. Unfortunately I overestimated the heel height, and although the shoes are super comfortable, I will end up being taller than my fiance. I am now in search of new shoes that are under 3" tall and can't find anything that I love as much as the one I purchased that are over 4". Ideally, I'd love something blingy and sparkly. Any ideas where I can find such shoes? Everything I like is way too high =(.

Why is it such a bad thing that you will be taller then your FI?

It isn't a bad thing for the most part. When we go out, I always wear high heels and end up being a few inches taller than him. However, I know I will be self conscious about the height difference at the wedding so I'd rather be same height as him in my shoes by having smaller heels. I know it will bother me otherwise.

I get the not wanting to be taller thing. I'm 5'8 and DH is 5'9. I didn't want to look like an Amazon woman next to him.

Have you looked into the Caparros Violetta? DSW carries it.

JCPenney carries a brand called Call It Spring that has some silver glittery pumps and sparkly ballet flats

Just looked into your suggestions. I tried other Caparros heels and they were all painfully uncomfortable to me. Not sure how the ones you mentioned are, but I'll pop into a DSW near me and check them out. Haven't heard of Call It Spring brand, but will look into it as well. Thanks!

I also get the wanting to be 'at least' the same height! My husband and I are only a couple of inches apart in height, so I also wanted to find something gorgeous, yet in a flat! I found *amazing* shoes at 'The Shoe Company.' They sell name brand shoes, at lower prices! (Bonus)! They have a wide variety of *many* different styles of 'blingy' shoes! Other stores that have some neat options, (but at all different price ranges), are places like Aldo, Sears, even Etsy has some options! You'll find something! I just find the blingy flats, or lower heel shoes, are a little harder to find!

I still don't get it. If you aren't self conscious when you go out on a regular basis with him why would the wedding be any different?

But if you really want to buy different shoes just know that if your dress is long no one will see them so I would just focus on getting a pair that meet your height requirement and comfort level rather then buying something sparkly and cute.

. It's a decision I'm choosing to make, to be at least the same height as him at our wedding. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and that's totally fine. I am simply looking for ideas of where to find cute low heel shoes that I will love. Yes, I know they won't be seen much under my dress, but I still want something pretty regardless.

It's certainly ok for the girl to be taller. Some brides may not mind standing next to their husband at the wedding and be taller, but I know I will. It will make me feel like an Amazon woman, as someone else said previously. I am not the "look at me I'm the center of attention" type in general anyway, and with so many eyes on us that day, I don't want the height to bother me. Is it silly? Probably. But will it make me feel better at the end of the day to be shorter or his height? Most definitely.

I haven't started shoe shopping yet, but height is a concern for me too. my financee is taller than me, but when I wear high heels i feel i'm towering over him. I def don't want to feel that way at our wedding, so i totally get it! Did you look at zappos.com?
