Dreams to Realities Bridal - alterations

Hi all!

Does anyone know who formerly did the alterations at Dreams to Realities Bridal?  The bridal salon is no longer in business; I bought my dress from them and have it in my posession, but lost the card the owner gave with the seamstress's name and number.  For a bustle, raising the hem, and potentially taking the dress in a little but the owner told us to budget out about $250; which seems very inexpensive to me, so I really want to track down this lady for a consultation.

If anyone can help, thanks!!

  • If you can't locate her try Julianne http://juliannebridal.com/

I paid $159 for bustle, hem, added straps and cut my veil (turns out cathedral length on a 5 foot frame is bit too long).

My final fitting it tomorrow - only needed 2 of them. She did two of my bridesmaids and my mother as well. Each about $50 for hemming and taking in.

  • I don't know what side of town you're o but I went to Valentino's in Twinsburg: http://www.clevelandtailoring.com/

I only had one fitting and it was done in a week.  She was so sweet and I had total confidence in her.  She had initially said she'd have to take off this part with really pretty lace on the bottom due to being only 5'1" and I walked in to pick up my dress and she had a big smile on her face and said, "I have a surprise for you!" and she'd taken it all off all by hand, this lace and beading embellishment, and put it back on...all by hand.  She was awesome!
