I'm wearing an illusion tulle birdcage veil with Swarovski crystals minimally scattered throughout. It goes to about the tip of my nose.

I have a simple chapel length, ivory with a satin pencil edge but I've decided not to wear it. I think it's too much if I wear it with the shawl I had made and my hair down in the back. I only paid $20 for it so no big deal.

I have a mid-arm length veil with pearl beading around the edges with a ivory floral stitching with the beads.

I really wanted a birdcage w/ a fascinator, and I really wanted to DIY it, but I don't think I'm going to do so after all. I'll probably just end up getting an elbow length veil, though I really like the mantilla style veils like this:

Fingertip, ivory trim and a little pouf... I love my veil. My mom is turning my dress and part of my veil into a christening gown for our future kids when that time comes

I figure it's a good way to keep the dress but in a practical way.

I don't have one yet... I was going to use my best friend's for my something borrowed but hers was white and my dress is a dark ivory. So I'm back to square one. I'm going to dress shopping with my stepmom for her dress this weekend so I'm going to look. My FI thinks my veil should be special but I could l really care less if I even have one. Anyone else feel the same way?

I didn't care if I had a veil. In fact I told everyone that I wasn't getting one. But then my mom looked so happy when she got me to try one on that I ended up getting it.

I am doing a short veil, very simple. I originally wanted a long veil but when I tried them on, I didn't like them.

I got a sparkle cafe veil. It was the softer one of the 2 I was trying to decide between. The other one was lighter color with a gold trim. Both looked so lovely with my dress.

I am wearing a single tier, cathedral-length veil with lace trimming that begins about 1/3 of the way down on either side and wraps around the bottom. I didn't think I'd even wear a veil, but I fell in love with the really bridal look it gave me!

We're getting married on my parents wedding anniversary so I'm having my Mom's veil refurbished and shortened to fingertip length. She had a Maria Von Trapp like cathedral veil which is too much with my dress but I'm excited I can use it in some way. The guy who specializes in this work is even taking the flowers and beads from her headpiece to make hairpins for the day!

I'm doing a cathedral length veil with a blusher. It is very plain except it has a very thin silver trim. I fell in love with a lace one, but it looked awful with my dress, so we decided plain is the best route.

Fingertip length, white with scattered crystals and a blusher. I didn't like anything I found in the stores or the ones I did were several hundred dollars, so we have a seamstress making mine for $80
