At home teeth whitening

Has anyone tried any at home teeth whitenings products? If so, can you recommend any that are really good from your experience? How far before the wedding did you start teeth whitening?

  • Oh! I just bought this stuff from a recommendation. I got Dr. George's Dental white kit on Amazon. I think it was $22 for the whole kit. I used it twice and man, I definitely notice my teeth are a good bit whiter. I started now and will do maintenance between now and my wedding in March. I will have my bridal portraits done in January so they need to be white for then.
  • As mainstream and marketed as they are, I have to say Crest White Strips are seriously fantastic.  For the price and the simplicity, I'd say they're a great way to go.  And they have several options and timelines to work with in their various whitening lines.

I was considering these but didn't want to give in to the marketing hype. Perhaps I'll try them out to see how I like them.

  • I used to use the Crest White strips too, and they are more expensive than the Dr. George's dental white and don't work as quickly.

I haven't heard of Dr. George's kit, but just did a quick search and stated reading some Amazon reviews. Will read more later on when I have some time to really look into it.

  • I think if you don't mind wearing the mouth trays, you'll really be happy with it. The trays are the most difficult part. I also don't leave the trays in my mouth for the 30-60 minutes they recommend because I just can't, lol, and I still notice the whitening after only using it twice.
