Hi ladies! I just wanted to pop in and see how your all doing and wish everyone one a safe and happy 4th of July! What's everyone's plans?

DH is working today so I'm headed to my XSILs for a party. Thankfully she has a pool because it's going to be about 90 here today.
Later on my old boss who is one of my bfs is having a party at his sisters lake house. We may stop by for a bit. DH has surgery tomorrow so I'm not sure what tonight will bring.

    Happy 4th!! Gonna try to stay cool today...it is hot and humid out there! I may need to jump in a pool later!! Jenn, I hope the surgery goes well tomorrow! I'll be thinking about you guys! Keep us posted on how everything goes!

    Happy Fourth!  I get to send the whole day with my FI!  He's taking me to see a broadway show, we're going to eat lunch, take in a movie AND go out to dinner...I want to persuade him to take me to see the fireworks, but it's not his type of thing...and notice that all of our activities include sitting in an air conditioned setting lol!!  Hope everyone has a great day today!

    Jenn-  I hope all goes well for your DH tomorrow...I will be sending lots of knottie vibes your way!

    Happy 4th!! We are still in bed at this point. FI and I were out until about 430 this morning and then we couldn't sleep. I am still pretty tired but I can't fall back to sleep. The only thing that is actually planned for today is making cake balls. Yummy! Jenn - I hope everything goes well tomorrow. Keep us posted!

    Best of luck tomorrow jenn! We will all be thinking of you tomorrow so make you sure you give us updates every so often. I'm not really sure what I'm doing today... My FI is working today and I should be cleaning at the moment but so not motivated, I'll prob head by my moms for a little while. She is BBQ'ing and my sister is in for the day so that will be fun. Then later my FI, I and 2 of our friends are supposed to go to a Staten Island Yankee Game (minor league baseball), it's really nice because the stadium is beautiful and they do a firework show for the fourth, plus last year we were actually able to see the Macy's fireworks as well with an awesome view of the city. Unfortunately the weather is calling for rain later and I'm not supreme they'll be doing it! I'm bummed but trying to stay hopeful... Enjoy your day ladies!

    Working today til 5, which is lame. FI is claiming he's going to BBQ but seeing it's supposed to be 105 by this afternoon.....we'll see what happens. Hoping to catch some fireworks tonight too but only if it's not insanely hot. I'm hoping it will cool off a little by 9 or so.

    Jenn, hope surgery goes well for DH tomorrow!!

    We adventured around the city and ended up in Hoboken for lunch, now we're just trying to stay as cool as possible at home. We also bought the ties for our groomsmen (finally got the fabric sample for our dresses)!! They were only $8 each at Burlington Factory (where we got FI's too) and look great. Wahoo!
