Need help picking BM dresses

I have my dress, I have had it for a year now and am still in love with it. I got before we booked a venue and but didn't consider if it would go together. I think it will, however I am having a very hard time finding a style of dress for my bridesmaids that will fit the venue, my dress, their budget, and body types. My venue is at a historical park, we are getting married at the gazebo and then the reception will be in the barn. I didn't want the event to be too fancy. It will be in late June in  sw ohio so most likely hot and humid. Does anyone know what kind of dress to look at for mine. Picture of my dress in white attached, but mine is ivory. I wanted the dresses shorter, and light material but will that match???????

    The BM dresses and your dress don't have to match.  Short dresses in a light fabric such as chiffon would be nice for a June wedding.  Before picking out dresses, you should talk to each of the BMs alone and find out what their budget is.  The dresses should then be within the lowest budget.  Or, you could pick a colour and fabric and have the girls pick out their own dresses.

    Your dress is lovely!

    I don't think the BM dresses necessarily have to *match* your dress- as long as they go with the season, fit the formality of the venue/event, and your BMs are comfortable wearing them.

    I have told my BMs a colour and length of dress from David's and they are free to pick what they are most comfortable wearing and spending.

    Yeah, my dress and the BM dresses definitely don't "Match." I've seen a wedding where the BM dresses and the bride's dress were the same, just the bride's was white. I don't think that's necessary, lol.
