I am getting married next June and am wondering if it would be weird, since it is in the middle of the summer, to wear a ballet-type flat (closed toe) shoe for my wedding? Thanks!

    If you have a long dress, most people won't see your shoes anyway. Wear whatever you want and something that you're really comfortable in - the last thing you want to be thinking about is painful shoes.

    No, that wouldn't be weird at all.  If it were me, however, I would want shoes that my feet can "breathe" in.

    I wore boots at my first wedding! Big furry white boots! I think your shoes are something you really can have as much or as little fun with as you want!! You can wear any color or style and I doubt anyone will really even see them. I will probably be getting married barefoot or in flip flops, or maybe bedroom slippers! Comfort and fun!
