Engagement Photos

So my FH and I are kind of on a tight budget so we decided to shoot our own engagement photos- which we did yesterday! I'm so excited about how they came out that I had to share a few...Thanks in advance for indulging me

Also as a quick side note- the location of these photos is where we will be getting married next October.

PS- I would love to see everyone elses!!

Really cute pictures!

We just took ours on Saturday. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on them either, since we live in CA but are getting married in NY and couldn't do them with our wedding photographer, so we actually got a Groupon for them. So far I've only seen one teaser photo, but I love it and can't wait to see the rest!

We just took ours on Sunday and I am so excited to see them!
I really love the one with the water in the background where you can see the reflection of the trees!
Ours were also outside along a river where we walk our dog every night. We're getting married in a similar location, outdoor, along a river, but unfortunately not the same place as our photos.
Great Job! I'll share some of mine when I have them!

@lowell14 I felt so awkward doing our photos too; it's so weird being the center of attention! But I guess if we're going to be brides we'll have to get used to that lol.

@rachelsea53‌ , you are so right! My photographer said that engagements shoots are a lot more awkward than wedding shoots for couples.

I love my photographer! He was the first one I met. I pretty much decided on him but met with a few others.

It was BUCKETING rain where I live, hence the orange umbrella. It was our only 'prop'. I think it makes the pics 'pop'.

ours are being done next weekend but we're doing it more as a family shoot with FI, my daughters, and our dog. I'm so excited to have some nice shots of us
