Pocketfold Invites...Glue?

Hi!!! I am getting ready to start assembling my pocketfold invitations. I ordered the pre-made pocketfold from CardsandPockets.com and they are beautiful. I designed and printed my invites and NOW I have to assemble them. I am going to be placing the invite itself on a piece of black cardstock and then placing that on the inside of the actual pocketfold. My question is....what is the best adhesive? I thought about a glue stick...but I don't know if it will fall apart in the heat of the mail (I live in Florida). Then I thought about spray adhesive, but it's really messy. I also read about glue dots. Does anybody have some first hand experience/advice as to what will work best??

I am making these as well, although have not assembled mine yet. This tutorial shows using zip dry paper glue, which i was going to try.

I am using glue dots to form a band with lace ribbon around the outside, and it worked well and secured nicely, but i don't want to elevate the cardstock at all from the pocketfold, therefore didn't consider using it for the card itself.

I used double-stick tape to attach the invitation to the pocket, and Zips glue strips to assemble the pocket itself. No issues that I know of!

I found an Elmer Glue Dot stamper at the Dollar Store and it works awesome! I was worried that the dots wouldn't be that strong but they definitely hold my invitation to my pocketfold, I had trouble trying to get them apart haha

I used glue dots to assemble mine. I tried the Elmer's glue dot stamper, but preferred Glue Dots Brand. I bought a variety pack, and found the roll was easier to maneuver than the sheet or dispenser.
